Doctors warned of deadly infection

News | This is London: "Doctors have been warned to be on the lookout for a serious and potentially deadly infection whose symptoms could go unnoticed.
Up to one in 11 patients admitted to hospital with gallstone disease has acute cholangitis - inflammation of the bile ducts - according to Drug and Therapeutics Bulletin (DTB). The condition can quickly lead to septicaemia, shock and death.
